The Jupiter Exchange platform, known in the crypto world for being a Solana DEX, launched the JUP coin in January 2024. It had been expected since the end of 2023. No wonder: this is one of the most respected brokers in the world of cryptoassets.
DEX was founded in 2021. It brought innovations to those who trade cryptocurrencies. In one place, it brings together crypto exchanges, its own payments application and purchase order limit, including for dollars.
Exchange aggregator
The JUP coin system stands out for being an exchange aggregator. It brings together liquidity from multiple exchanges in the decentralized environment in addition to automated market makers (AMM).
Consequently, DeFi aggregators bring the best deals to investors. This prevents them from having to visit multiple brokers on different blockchains to discover the most attractive quotes, both for selling and buying.
Due to these features, the Jupiter Exchange platform became Solana's largest DEX aggregator: it generated more than US$16 billion in negotiations in December 2023. To give you an idea, in November of the same year, this movement it had been US$4 billion and, in October, US$1 billion.

V6 Swap API
This application brings the necessary resources to access liquidity on the Solana platform. To do this, the user must provide the pairs and values of traded cryptocurrencies. V6 returns with the transactions already in series to complete the process, carried out in Solana, with the necessary authorizations.
Payment API
Among Jupiter Exchange dApps, this one helps when making payments between users. It serves as an intermediary in transactions, which can take place with different currencies. The USDC quote is used as an interface.
Price API
In the JUP coin system, the Price API provides real-time currency price quotes — around 100 different assets are part of the pool. In this environment, robots present the unit value of currencies and the exchanges on which they are quoted.
Jupiter Swap via Flash-Fill
Flash-Fill is a different version of Jupiter Swap, which places an order for multiple DEXs at once. Using the SOL currency as payment for the service, the process gives priority to the most advantageous quotes in terms of prices. It works on a specific schedule to make the process faster.
Game development
Developers can use the Jupiter Exchange system to embed games on the blockchain, as well as currencies and NFTs. The platform's library can be incorporated into Unreal Engine gaming software, using UnrealCLR and even a C# backend.
JUP token
The Jupiter Exchange token was launched on January 31, 2024. Being native to the platform, it was widely anticipated. At the time, 955,000 digital wallets were eligible to receive the coin, all registered for the airdrop on November 2, 2023.
JUP coin is about governance: holders have the power to vote in meetings for improvements to the platform. Around 10 billion units will be created. Half will go to the community. The remainder will be used for other airdrops and system liquidity.
