- The function of following a “Maker”
Following a Maker is to place a limit order to buy or to sell according to the selected price in the order book.
For example, you want to buy 0.1 BTC at the buy price of 2 in the order book. You can click on the buy price of 2 and insert 0.1 in the amount field. The price will be automatically filled with the price you selected.
- The function of making a “Taker”
Making a “taker” is when you place a limit order to buy or to sell the selected order in the order book (according to the selected maker price and the total amount of orders from the Sell 1/Buy 1).
For example, you want to make a Taker order to buy BTC. The 5th price in the BTC sell order is 6,473.48 with a quantity of 0.743191. If you click on the 5th price in the BTC sell order, the system will place an order to buy 2.065631 (the total amount from Sell 1 to Sell 5) at a price of 6,473.48.
